Evershine Press is currently accepting submissions for fiction, non-fiction, self-help, children’s, and young adults books. We work with established and debut authors. Although we have a wide range of book genres and categories we work with, we select every book individually based upon book content, author and our ability to work with authors. We will read and determine if a book submitted to us is of a nature or topic we feel we can successfully develop and market. We also require the author to submit a questionnaire with their book. The purpose of the questionnaire is so we may access the authors ability to work with us and so we may present an offer if we select the book. We work closely with our authors in a collaborative environment and therefore author goals and expectations have a major factor in deciding on whether to undergo a project. Inevitably sometimes goals and ideas don’t mesh, so we strive to get to know our authors before taking on a project to try to ensure a co-operative working relationship. Submission criteria for unpublished books:
- Authors name and contact information
- Author bio; Manuscript tile, genre/category and approximate word count
- Anticipated date of book completion
- Synopsis
- The complete manuscript or the first ten chapters if uncompleted in a Word file format
- Completed questionnaire
Submission criteria for unpublished poetry:
- Authors name and contact information
- Author bio
- Poetry manuscript and number of poems in collection, Subject of poems
- Anticipated date of book completion
- Manuscript of poems or samples of at least three poems for each subject in a Word doc file format
- Completed questionnaire
Submission criteria for existing published books:
- Authors name and contact information
- Author bio
- Digital copy of book in pdf or epub format
- Synopsis
- Date of publication and sales to date
- Completed questionnaire
Please note that when submitting files to us we prefer unpublished works in Word format.
